U-Impact Sustainability Action Challenge Competition for Freshmen Finals Held: ISTM Team Wins Silver Award 

 

The finals of the 114th Academic Year “U-Impact Sustainability Action Challenge Competition” were grandly held on March 27. Freshman teams from various departments gathered to showcase their innovative ideas and sustainable practices. After intense evaluation, the team from the UQ-FCU 2+2 Bachelor’s Program in Business, under the guidance of Professor Siu-Hang Chan, delivered an outstanding performance. Their project, titled “AquaSense Smart Campus Resilience System,” earned them the Silver Award (second place), receiving high recognition for their achievements. 

 

The award-winning team was led by student representative Shi Guan-Zhen, alongside team members Yang Yu-Hui, Wei Le, Hsiao Yun-Hsi, Chang Yun-Chen, and Wang Hsiang-Yun. 

 

This competition aims to encourage students to explore issues around their campus through innovative thinking and to propose creative and sustainable solutions. The excellent performance of the Dual Degree Program team not only brought honor to the program but also demonstrated the students’ strong potential for innovation and action in addressing future challenges.
