ISTM Holds Program X Transfer Information Session to Help Students Plan for Overseas Study

2026.10.02

To help students gain a deeper understanding of the application requirements and options for applying Program X program, the International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) held a Program X Transfer Information Session at 12:00 noon on September 14. The session attracted 78 first- and second-year students from various programs. The session was personally hosted by CEO Chung. Through a comprehensive overview of application requirements and partner universities, the session helped students gain an early understanding of potential overseas study pathways and plan their coursework according to the requirements of their target universities.

The session focused on three major fields: Business, Electrical Engineering, and Information Technology. CEO Chung introduced the partner universities available to students in each program, along with the specific admission requirements for each major. Key requirements covered GPA, English proficiency test scores, and coursework prerequisites, enabling students to gain a clearer understanding of the application criteria and use the information as an important reference for future overseas study planning.

The information session was intentionally held before the deadline for course add/drop registration, allowing students to understand the requirements of different partner universities before making their course selections. Based on their target universities and future academic or career goals, students could evaluate and adjust their coursework plans in advance, reducing the possibility that insufficient coursework or qualifications might affect their future applications.

Currently, Program X partners with 11 universities overseas, providing students with diverse and flexible opportunities for international study. Through the information session, students not only gained a clearer understanding of the application requirements of partner universities and began considering their future academic pathways, but also had the opportunity to start preparing for different overseas study plans at an early stage. ISTM hopes that such initiatives will broaden students’ international perspectives and open up more possibilities for their future academic and professional development.
