In the former- two-year study, students will study foundational and core courses in engineering at Feng Chia University.
students will continue their studies at San José State University in 3rd & 4th year. SJSU
Electrical Engineering curriculum covers semiconductor electronics; wireless communications; machine learning; image and signal processing; analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits; embedded systems; control and robotics; power electronics and sustainable electric energy systems.
While staying at Feng Chia University, students must meet:
1. Accumulated GPA at least 3.0
2. Receive at least 60 course credits.
3. TOEFL iBT overall 80, or IELTS 6.0
4. Take the following courses: Public Speaking, English Writing, Calculus I or II, Critical Thinking.
With all the program requirements satisfied, students will be awarded the following degrees:
A. Feng Chia University Bachelor of Science
B. San José State University Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Graduates of this program will be eligible to apply for the 12-month F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT) visa as well as the 24-month OPT extension for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) degree holders. OPT visa holders can only undertake work directly related to their major area of study.
SJSU EE will hold freshman orientation every year.
