ISTM Provides Comprehensive Support for Students Studying in Australia
The International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) is dedicated to supporting students studying at partner universities in Australia. This year, the CEO of ISTM, Mr. Kris Chung, was specially dispatched to Australia to accompany these students as they participated in activities meticulously designed by the partner universities.
On the first day, the University of Queensland (UQ) organized a "UQ Venture Induction" for the students from ISTM. The workshop featured alumni who had previously earned dual degrees from UQ, sharing their experiences and insights about studying there. Following this, Ms. Mayu Komukai, a senior lecturer from UQ Ventures, conducted an engaging session to guide students through the process of refining raw ideas into market-ready products. This two-hour training condensed years of experience, providing the new arrivals with fresh perspectives and inspiration for entrepreneurship in Australia.
To offer comprehensive overseas support, ISTM has also enlisted the services of I.S. Education Consulting (ISEC) starting this year. ISEC will provide regular monitoring and life consultation assistance across various Australian campuses. That evening, a dinner gathering was held with UQ alumni to foster familiarity and exchange study abroad experiences. This event not only strengthened the overseas cohesion of ISTM but also served as a platform for sharing and passing on valuable knowledge.
This approach ensures that students studying abroad feel supported and are well-prepared for their academic and entrepreneurial journeys in Australia.
