Dr. Gary from Monash University Visits ISTM to Observe Classes, Strengthening International Academic Exchange

On November 19-20, 2024, ISTM in collaboration with the Australian Office, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Gary from Monash University, Australia, for classroom observation. The visit included a specially arranged schedule for Dr. Gary to observe courses within the joint Computer Science program, fostering further collaboration in teaching and research.

Dr. Gary focuses on gaining insights of teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and student learning outcomes. He participated in various courses, including Introduction to Python Programming, Analytic Geometry and Calculus, Introduction to Cloud Computing, and Data Structure. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with faculty members to better understand classroom interaction and the learning environment.

This visit not only deepened the partnership between ISTM and Monash University but also provided valuable international perspectives and professional advice for the faculty.
