The First ISTM Cooking Contest

ISTM students were busy in the kitchens of ISTM dormitory on November 17th, putting their culinary skills to the test. The first “ISTM Cooking Contest” attracted more than 17 teams of ISTM students to participate. Each chef had to cook three courses against the clock and under the scrutiny of a panel of judges during the contest, which took place at ISTM dormitory.

  • ISTM faculty members, acting as the judges, were impressed by students’ collaborative effort in making tasty dishes with presentation. FCU-SJSU Program Year 2 students, Wei Lau, Hsuan-Cheng Lee, Chen-Yu Liao and Kuo-Chih Liao, won the first place in the contest for their delicious, nutritious dishes prepared with creativity and flair.
  • The whole event came to a perfect ending in a lively atmosphere. All participants' recipes are collected in a recipe book and will be given to students as a gift when going overseas for their studying abroad.
