Program Overview

Course Introduction

Freshman and Sophomore Years: Fundamental courses in Electrical Engineering.
Junior and Senior Years: Transition to SJSU’s Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering, where students continue to study relevant professional knowledge and gain practical experience.

After graduation, students may apply for a U.S. work permit (OPT* + STEM extension#) to engage in engineering-related work in the U.S.

OPT stands for Optional Practical Training. Undergraduate and graduate students holding an F1 visa, after completing at least nine months of academic study, may be approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to undergo practical training in their professional field for up to one year.
OPT regulations are subject to the latest updates announced by the government each year.

Requirements for Students to Complete at Feng Chia University

Students must meet the following four requirements in order to proceed to the partner university for upper-year studies.要求，方可出國前往合作學校繼續高年級學習

Students who meet the graduation requirements of both Feng Chia University and San Jose State University will be awarded a Bachelor of Science from Feng Chia University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
