RMIT-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Business and Innovation Ready to Set off, All Sophomores got Offer Letter
The five 2+2 programs in International School of Technology and Management all got good news in this May. From RMIT-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Business and Innovation (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, RMIT), the 20 students who will go to RMIT in the coming July have received Offer Letter, as long as they complete the courses they are taking this semester successfully along with reach English proficiency threshold, they will receive Full Offer Letter.
Melbourne is located in the southern part of Victoria on the east coast of Australia. It is the capital and largest city of Victoria. RMIT University is located in Melbourne, which was top of the world's most livable cities for five consecutive years. RMIT University is a 5-Star university (QS Stars international evaluation system) and is ranked 18th in the world among universities less than 50 years old (2021 QS Top 50 Under 50 index). The full time faculties in ISTM: Professor Wen-Shin Chen and Professor Avinash Shankarana have both had teaching jobs in RMIT, the newly hired Professor Ryan-Timothy this semester is also an RMIT alumnus (PhD from School of Design, Master of Arts, Master of Media Communication). They also provide the best experience inheritance for the students of the RMIT program.
RMIT-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Business and Innovation is established in 2015, it’s the first dual bachelor’s degrees program in Feng Chia University and it’s also an innovative action in the domestic universities with international cooperation. Students are immersed in the all-English-Teaching environment in the first two years in FCU studying business fundamental courses, they have to reach the RMIT GPA criterion (GPA 2.8) and English threshold (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 79) before studying in RMIT. Students will study in College of Business and Law in RMIT, they can choose one from 15 majors, or choose 1-2 minors. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, students will be awarded two separate bachelor’s degrees.
There have been nearly 50 graduates in this RMIT-FCU program, many students chose to continue their postgraduate careers in the eight prestigious universities in Australia, such as University of Queensland, University of Sydney, University of Melbourne, Monash University, etc. There were also some students who chose to come back to Taiwan to continue their studies, some even got the offer of National Taiwan University. ISTM expects to hold a pre-departure briefing in mid-June for the sophomores to prepare studying in Australia, along with accommodation and visa application. They will fly to Australia in early July to start their study-abroad careers and make the dreams come true.
