FCU-Purdue Undergraduate 2+2 Program hosted a two-day seminar on Aug 1st and Aug. 2nd, inviting Prof. Vincent Duffy (associate professor of School of Industrial Engineering from Purdue University) for all students and faculty in ISTM and other  FCU departments to talk on the topics of active learning and gamification in Education. More than 100 people signed up for this activity in just three days after it was opened for registration.

  • As the concept of Flipped Classroom and Gamification education have been valued highly, and we, International School of Technology and Management (ISTM), as a Taiwanese innovative education pioneer, are promised to offer the best, the most effective and modern teaching to our students, we put lots of effort and finally invite Prof. Vincent Duffy from Purdue University to Feng Chia University to share his experiences and his insights into the education in U.S.

  • Prof. Vincent Duffy is a professor of Industrial Engineering and Agricultural & Biological Engineering at Purdue University. At the workshop, he will share his experiences on innovative teaching ways changing the learning environment to an active, and student-centered learning environment. We here sincerely invite all professors to take this time to participate.
