SJSU English Writing & Public Speaking Courses on FCU campus

In the summer of 2017, ISTM invited San Jose State University (SJSU) full-time lecturer in the Department of English and Comparative Literature, Ms. Leanne Lindelof, to come to FCU to teach students in the SJSU-FCU program two Communication courses – English Writing and Public Speaking. Communication is one of the foundational skills that is required by SJSU. In these short-term, intensive courses, students have a taste of the expected high standard of commitment and competence in terms of their academic and professional communications skills. The students went through 5 weeks of rigorous training to boost their English communication capabilities. Our faculty members also had the chance to observe and learn from SJSU course planning and teaching methods in class.
