This time, we are honor to have the presence of Professor Ben Martin, the editor of one of the top journals in the field - Research Policy, to be our paper commentator.
- ISTM hopes to lift students’ international vision and critical thinking ability through exchange and interaction in international symposium and paper contest. Our graduates had already received the message of this symposium when they were first enrolled. Hence, every graduates worked extremely hard to prepare themselves in the course “Research Methodology” during last semester. They were able to explain their papers logically and reasonably in front of Professor Ben Martin during their presentations. In addition, they also gained suggestions and feedbacks through their exchange and discussions with international peers. This was a valuable experience for the graduates.
- Tokyo Institute of Technology is the most prestigious university in Japan dedicated to science and technology, one of the world-renowned universities in engineering. It ranked the third among Japan Universities in World University Rankings 2014-2015 Times Higher Education. Yonsei University ranks the second among Korea Universities, forming S.K.Y. with Seoul National University and Korea University. The 3rd Symposium and Paper Contest on International Technology Management and Intellectual Property Right has come to an end. The next session would be organized by Professor Kajikawa from Tokyo Institute of Technology, who is also one of the associate editors for the Technological Forecasting and Social Change. Our graduates gained better understanding on the developments and history of technology management worldwide through their interactions and discussions with journal editors. This event is a significant research milestone for the graduates. We hope to continuously gain research capability and academic reputation for International School of Technology and Management.
