Life in RMIT: Live a colorful Life

On 8th March 2017, FCU-RMIT Undergraduate Dual Degree Program cordially invited the regional manager (International Recruitment), Mr. Joseph Dao to hold “Life in RMIT, Melbourne” in Feng Chia University. The students from the program had the chance to talk to the representative from RMIT in person.
- Mr. Joseph Dao shared his own living experiences in Australia for over 30 years with the students in his 2 hours talk, including related issues such as the livings and dormitory, studies, internships, works in RMIT with detailed examples. He hoped that students would build their own personal network in college through working, doing volunteers, internships etc., gaining experiences in a cultural melting pot like Melbourne to prepare themselves as talents with broad and international view. The talk intensified the expectations of sophomores who are going to RMIT in July, 2017, also strengthened the motivations of upcoming freshmen.
- Yi-Ting Zheng (RMIT’s Sophomore) said: “I find the RMIT’s unique Industrial Project is just like internship. I am interested in it as students are allowed to learn from do, from theories to practices.”
- Zhi-Yun Liu (RMIT’s Sophomore) said: “This sharing is really something that would happen in the reality, I have gained a lot from it.”
- Mr. Joseph Dao showed his recognition to students’ active questions, it is a basis to study and live in Australia. He also hoped that the students would keep it up and cultivate an independent attitude, “Live in RMIT, live a colorful Life.”
