Choosing the 2+2 Program Today Means Preparing for a Global Future
As international education continues to gain momentum, more high school students aspire to study abroad. However, they often face challenges such as language adaptation, academic transition, and high tuition costs. Taipei Municipal Zhongzheng Senior High School has long been committed to promoting international curricula and supporting students in exploring diverse pathways for further education. On December 16, 2025, the school specially invited Kris Chung, Executive Director of the International School of Technology and Management (ISTM), Feng Chia University, to introduce the 2+2 International Dual Degree Program to faculty members and students.
During the presentation, Mr. Chung highlighted that Feng Chia University’s 2+2 dual degree program is designed around the concept of “building a strong foundation in Taiwan before seamlessly transitioning to overseas partner universities.” Students complete their first two years in Taiwan to strengthen their academic fundamentals and English proficiency, followed by two years of study at an overseas partner institution. Upon graduation, students earn degrees from both domestic and international universities. This model effectively mitigates the risks associated with studying abroad at an early stage, while significantly easing the financial burden on families, thereby achieving an optimal balance between academic quality, global exposure, and affordability.
