FCU-RMIT Program Director Lee visits students studying abroad at RMIT
FCU-RMIT Program Director Pei-Chun Lee visited ISTM's first batch students studying abroad at RMIT on the 7th and 8th of this December. Director Lee met the students in an afternoon tea party arranged by RMIT in its College of Business and was excited to learn about students' new life at RMIT in this teacher-student reunion. Students shared their experiences abroad and how they have become more independent and enhanced their learning in the 2+2 program.
In addition, Director Lee met with faculty members from RMIT to exchange ideas and discuss how to strengthen the collaboration and tie between two institutions and support students in their journey of study.

ISTM Purdue X RMIT Joint Innovation Project CompetitionDecember 20, 2017
“ISTM Purdue X RMIT Joint Innovation Project Competition” on the 14th and 15th of December put students’ skills to the test. FCU-Purdue and FCU-RMIT first-year students focused on problem scoping and solutions. For FCU-RMIT second-year course, students were required to further develop a product or a service. In this interdisciplinary competition, several reviewers were invited, including Prof. Albrecht Fritzsche from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, Program Director Shaw-Jyh Shin, Program Director Pei-Chun Lee, Prof. Chiung-Ju Huang, Prof. Ju-Chuan Wu and Prof. Chen-Jui Liang.
The First ISTM Cooking ContestNovember 20, 2017
ISTM students were busy in the kitchens of ISTM dormitory on November 17th, putting their culinary skills to the test. The first “ISTM Cooking Contest” attracted more than 17 teams of ISTM students to participate. Each chef had to cook three courses against the clock and under the scrutiny of a panel of judges during the contest, which took place at ISTM dormitory.

FCU-SJSU (Feng Chia University - San Jose State University) Bachelor’s Program in Business Analytics held a symposium on October 30, 2017, inviting parents of freshmen and sophomores for a chance to have face-to-face talk with ISTM (International School of Technology and Management) Dean Mitchell Tseng, Program Director Cathy W. S. Chen, and SJSU Associate Director of International Recruitment and Partnerships, Steve Arnold. This symposium included presentations of the study plan and study-abroad application procedures to help parents make connections with our school and ensure parents have adequate information to support students’ education.
